Earth Fair Market at St. Georges Mall

In my endeavour to write about food, I wanted to learn as much as I could about it because I want to be a credible food writer. My journey started with Oded’s Kitchen, working as a part-time sales person under the tw0 masterminds – Oded and Lewis. As I gained confidence, they placed me at the Earth Fair Market, where I’d sell Oded’s Kitchen products – preserves, fresh food (lunch) and their famous Aztec chilli hot chocolate. From having worked at three of the Earth Fair Markets on St. Georges Mall so far, I have come to love the transparency and the kindness of the local traders.

The Earth Fair Market at St. Georges Mall offers, those working or browsing in town, the opportunity to buy lunch and other food products from a wide selection of local food traders in Cape Town, while being surrounded by a stunning old school Victorian look and feel. It is open from 11:00am till 17:00pm every Thursday on the walkway (unless it’s raining of course). My good friend, Sam Linsell, renowned food stylist and blogger of Drizzle and Dip, recently did a post on the market, providing beautiful outdoor pictures – which can be seen here.

The traders you will find at the market include:
